Terms of service

The agreement between Waitmatic and the business that uses it.

Draft: details in yellow are filled in after business registration, and the text is reviewed by a lawyer before launch.

Last updated: 1 November 2026

These terms are an agreement between [Legal business name] (“Waitmatic”, “we”) and the business that registers a Waitmatic account (“you”). By using Waitmatic you accept them.

1. The service

Waitmatic is an app and website that lets you manage walk-in queues and send customers their token and status updates by WhatsApp and SMS. Wait times shown are estimates, not promises.

2. Accounts

  • Each person signs in with their own mobile number and a one-time SMS code. The owner is responsible for the staff they add.
  • Keep logins and PINs safe and remove staff who leave.

3. Free trial and plans

  • New accounts get a 14-day free trial with up to 30 customers and 2 staff logins. No card is needed.
  • Plans are billed monthly in advance through Razorpay: Starter ₹499, Growth ₹899, Premium ₹1,499. Taxes are added if applicable.
  • Each plan includes a monthly number of customers; extra customers are billed at ₹7 each.
  • After the trial, or if a payment fails, the account locks until a plan is paid. Your data is kept. Customers already in the queue can still open their link.
  • We may change prices with 30 days’ notice in the app or by email.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel any time; your plan runs to the end of the paid month. Refunds are covered by our cancellation and refund policy.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Add only customers who agree to receive updates on the number they give, and only for their visit.
  • Do not use Waitmatic to send marketing or unrelated messages, or to add numbers in bulk.
  • Follow the law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and telecom rules for messages.

6. Fair use

To protect the service and customers, Waitmatic limits some actions (for example, adding more than 20 customers in one minute, or calling the same customer again within 45 seconds).

7. Availability

We aim to keep Waitmatic running at all times but cannot guarantee it. Message delivery depends on WhatsApp, mobile networks and the customer’s phone.

8. Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost business, lost profit or indirect losses.

9. Suspension and ending

We may suspend accounts that misuse messaging, fail to pay, or break these terms. You can delete your account any time in the app; see delete your account.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat have jurisdiction.
